PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of jointing dissimilar materials to each other, capable of reliably jointing members at least one of which is made of a resin material to each other.SOLUTION: Temperature of resin members 11, 12 at a jointing-scheduled region 13 are respectively raised to temperatures equal to or higher than glass-transition temperatures of materials of the respective resin members 11, 12 and lower than flow beginning temperatures of the materials of the respective resin members 11, 12 by irradiation with a laser beam L. Since the temperatures of the resin members 11, 12 are respectively raised to the temperatures equal to or higher than the glass-transition temperatures, the resin members 11, 12 become elastic and expand selectively at the jointing-scheduled region 13. During this heating, the temperatures of the resin member 11, 12 are raised to the temperatures lower than the flow beginning temperatures, so that loss of surface activation effect due to melting of the resin members 11, 12 is prevented. Accordingly, when the laser beam L is emitted, a surface 11a of the resin member 11 and a surface 12a of the resin member 12 closely contact with each other at the jointing-scheduled region 13 and are jointed to each other by intermolecular force. |
