An operation method for an injection molding machine (1) which sorts users into a plurality of groups according to occupation and grants operation authority to users belonging to each of the groups such that only a specific operation can be performed, wherein when an operation spanning a plurality of groups is desired to be performed, a screen selection button (30) is displayed on a menu screen by selecting a low-ranking designated group among the plurality of groups. By pressing the screen selection button (30) displayed on the menu screen, a list of all operation items of the injection molding machine (1) is displayed on a screen selection screen of a display unit (20). By displaying, selecting, and setting an operation item corresponding to the operation spanning the plurality of groups by selecting display or non-display of the operation items displayed on the screen selection screen, the selected and set operation item is additionally displayed on the menu screen, and an operation corresponding to the additionally displayed operation item can be performed. |
