PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oven end part insulation structure which suppresses the temperature of a concrete retaining wall down to a safety temperature or lower by exerting a high insulation effect although having a compact structure with excellent workability.SOLUTION: An oven end part insulation structure is arranged between a combustion chamber in the longitudinal-direction end part of a coke oven battery of a coke oven and a concrete retaining wall and includes a silica brick layer 20, a clay brick layer 30, an insulation brick layer 40 and a red brick layer 50. The clay brick layer 30 includes solid clay brick layers 30A and 30B which are arranged on an inner side in the longitudinal direction of the coke oven battery and composed of a plurality of solid clay bricks 31 and a hollow clay brick layer 30C which is arranged on the outer side, in the longitudinal direction of the coke oven battery, relative to the solid clay brick layers 30A and 30B and composed of a plurality of hollow bricks 32 having a hollow part. |
