Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field, and provide a data flow transmission method and a device, which can improve flexibility of data flow control. The method includes: starting, by a TDF, detection on a service data flow; and performing, by the TDF, a corresponding operation according to a detection result; or, acquiring, by the TDF, a policy rule, and performing a corresponding operation according to a detection result and the policy rule. The embodiments of the present invention are used for data flow transmission. |
