A tread rubber (10) of a pneumatic tire (T) is formed by a ribbon rubber (20) which is spirally wound around a tire rotating axis. The ribbon rubber (20) is wound toward one side in a tire width direction (WD) from a start point (S1) which is positioned closer to a center side than tread ends (P1, P2) in a tire meridian cross section, is next folded back to the other side in the tire width direction (WD) at the tread end on the one side, is wound toward the tread end on the other side beyond the start point (S1), is next folded back to the one side in the tire width direction (WD) at the tread end on the other side, and is wound toward an end point (E1). The ribbon rubber (20) has the winding start end (S1) and the winding terminal end (E1) at tread end vicinity portions avoiding the tread ends (P1, P2) and a tread center portion. |
