PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate and output a stable drive pulse without influence of a change in the operation rate of image processing.SOLUTION: A control unit 5 of an image formation apparatus 10 includes: a delay chain circuit 59; an LUT unit 53; and a pulse generator 56. The delay chain circuit 59 is constituted by a plurality of delay elements sequentially delaying and converting input pixel data to drive pulses driving an exposure scanning device. The pulse generator 56 sequentially outputs calibration signals to the delay chain circuit 59 when a correction signal is input to the pulse generator 56. A correction value detector 57 detects detection information (correction value) of two output signals output from the delay chain circuit 59 and feeds back the detection information to the LUT unit 53. The LUT unit 53 shifts input positions of the pixel data to a downstream side on the basis of the detection information. |
