The device has a gripping tool that is mounted on a floor-free three-dimensional driven platform (10) to perform a compensating movement when gripping the object. The gripping tool is linked with four universal joint arms arranged in quadrants at the platform. The platform is provided with a centering rod (30) that is provided with a conical tip to enter a center hole of the gripping tool to align in the zero position.
