摘要 The development relates to a method, to a device, and to a system for strapping objects, wherein the following steps are performed: transporting an object (7, 7') to a strapping station by means of at least one conveying device (13, 14), forming at least one loop of a strap (2) around the object (7, 7') by means of a strapping device, connecting the ends of the loop to each other, wherein at least one position-sensing means (17, 18, 19) senses the position of the object (7, 7'). The problem addressed by the invention is that of simplifying the control of the strapping process and making the control more flexible. This problem is solved in that, by means of a microcontroller, the motion of the components activated during the strapping and of the object (7, 7') to be strapped is monitored and is optimally controlled individually for each strapping process by a control unit (20).
