PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery high in capacity, and good in charge/discharge cycle characteristics and productivity.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a nonaqueous electrolyte; and a separator. The positive electrode has a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material, a binder and a conductive assistant on one surface or both surfaces of a collector, and the negative electrode has a negative electrode mixture layer containing a negative electrode active material and a binder on one surface or both surfaces of a collector. Graphite and a material including an element that can be alloyed with lithium are contained as the negative electrode active material, and polyvinylidene fluoride and a vinylidene fluoride-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer are contained as the binder of the positive electrode. |
