The present invention relates to a device for placing radioactive containers (1) in the area of a cancerous tumour, said device being of the type comprising a hollow needle (4), able to receive at least one container (1) of radioactive product, and a pusher (3) which is mounted so as to slide in said needle (4) along the length of the latter and which allows said container (1) to be pushed out of said needle (4).
