PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transmit a signal stably without suffering an impact of impedance of a transformer on a pole in the case where each power line of low-voltage distribution lines branches out in two from near the transformer on the pole.SOLUTION: A power line communication system 1 comprises a single-phase three-line type low-voltage distribution line 2, a transformer 4 connected with one end of the low-voltage distribution line 2, and a first power line modem 10A connected with the low-voltage distribution line 2. The low-voltage distribution line 2 includes first and second branches 2A, 2B branching off from a trunk line extending from the transformer 4. The first power line modem 10A is connected with the first branch 2A by an induction coupling scheme and superposes a first signal on the first branch 2A, and is also connected with the second branch 2B by the induction coupling scheme and superposes a second signal, a signal with a reversed phase of the first signal, on the second branch 2B. |
