PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accounting device and a POS system that enable smooth execution of a transaction of purchasing articles by the next customer when a transaction such as a payment settlement and the like is executed by being operated via customers themselves.SOLUTION: The accounting device comprises: judgement means that judges whether or not an operation for declaring completion of one transaction is performed; and control means that, when it is judged by the judgement means that the operation has not executed within a prescribed time and it is possible to forcibly end a transaction under execution, causes the transaction under execution to be forcibly ended and executes a new transaction. |
