PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial plate configuration that can make members behind the dial plate inconspicuous while securing averagely required light permeability by partially controlling light transmittance of the dial plate, and to provide a dial surface with high-class feeling.SOLUTION: A dial plate for watch comprises: a light transmissive substrate arranged on a visible side of a light receiving member or a light emitting member provided on a visible side of a watch movement; and a light non-transmissive annular member arranged in close contact with, protruding from, or away from a visible side surface of the light transmissive substrate. On the transmissive substrate, a color of an inside region located inside the annular member is the same as, but lower in color density than that of an outside region located outside the annular member, thereby achieving higher average of the light transmittance of the inside region than that of the light transmittance of the outside region. |
