Articulated cut header (10) for agricultural machines (30) having a machine longitudinal axis (A) and wheel axes (R). The header comprises a first header section (11) and a second header section (12) having respective longitudinal axes (L). The first and the second header sections are provided with a respective side hinge (13, 14) adapted to allow a first pivotal movement of the respective header section. The header further comprises at least one connecting hinge adapted to allow a second pivotal movement of the header sections. The first pivotal movement is effected about first pivot axes (X) substantially parallel to each other, and the second pivotal movement is effected about a second pivot axis (Y) substantially perpendicular to said pivot axes (X). The first pivot axes (X) and the second pivot axis (Y) are substantially perpendicular to the direction that the longitudinal axes (L) of each of said header sections (11, 12) have at the beginning of the first pivotal movement and the second pivotal movement, respectively. |
