PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle securing its strength regardless of the weight reduction of the bottle and capable of suppressing the decompression deformation of the bottle incidental to the transpiration of water from the inside of the bottle.SOLUTION: A plastic bottle 10 includes a mouth 11, a neck 12, a shoulder 13, a body 20, and a bottom 30. A plurality of circumferential grooves 21 are formed in the body 20, circumferential protruded parts 22a-22d are formed between the circumferential grooves 21, and a plurality of vertically extending, pressure absorbing and reinforcing unit regions 23A, 23B are provided on the body 20 along a circumferential direction. Each unit region 23A, 23B has a plurality of continuous and pressure absorbing panel formation parts 24 situated at one side of an upper part or a lower part of each unit region 23A, 23B and drawn inward from the circumferential protruded parts 22b, 22d, and a plurality of continuous and reinforcing pillar formation parts 25 situated at the other side and protruded outward from the panel formation parts 24. |
