A spacer 2 is formed in a square bar shape and includes an upper groove section provided on the upper surface of the spacer, and a lower groove section provided on the lower surface of the spacer. The upper groove section includes a first upper groove 44 shaped to be fittable with a first lower end edge 40 of a first frame 10 of a battery module 6 located on the upper side, and a second upper groove 46 shaped to be fittable with a second lower end edge 42 of a second frame 12 of the battery module 6 located on the upper side.
