Novelty: a jam prepared with Greek organic Goji berries and dark chocolate is disclosed. Ingredients: 100% natural preservatives-free ingredients: 1 kg Goji berries, dark chocolate, 150 ml water, 500 gr brawn sugar, fruit pectin and fresh lemon juice. Preparation stages: 1) boiling of Goji berries, water and brawn sugar at a temperature not exceeding the 104 deg. Celcius; 2) addition of further 500 gr of brawn sugar and boiling for 20 minutes at a lower temperature; 3) addition of 50gr of fruit pectin and boiling for further 10 minutes; 4) addition of a tablespoon of lemon juice and removal of the mixture from fire; 5) pulping of the mixture in the blender; 6) addition of dark chocolate and homogenization thereof with the remaining mixture. Advantages: daily intakes of vitamins and antioxidants from a jam characterized by distinguishable and agreeable taste; health improvement as dictated by EU norms (432/2012 EU). |
