The lid of the invented cooking utensil is designed in such a way to remain on the main body (1) of the cooking utensil while opening. It acquires two or more opening positions allowing the temporary expansion of vapours or foams produced during cooking. This is obtained by the extensions (7,8,9,10) of the lid (6) which are adapted to the bases of the main body of the cooking utensil (2,3,4,5); the lid is liable to remain in the closed condition and be either slightly opened at the first step (b) for partial vapor expansion or more opened at the second step (a) for more vapor expansion. |
