1. A power supply device comprising:
a converter including a pair of input terminals, a pair of output terminals, a transformer including a primary winding and a secondary winding which are magnetically coupled, a capacitor, and a switching device; and a controller configured to control the switching device, the capacitor being electrically connected between the pair of input terminals, the capacitor, the primary winding, and the switching device being connected in series in a closed circuit, the converter being configured to, when the switching device is switched to an on-state, store energy inputted through the pair of input terminals in the primary winding and the secondary winding, and, when the switching device is switched to an off-state, produce a DC output voltage between the pair of output terminals by use of energy stored in the primary winding and the secondary winding, and the converter further including a reverse flow preventer for preventing, when the switching device is switched to the off-state, a current from flowing through the closed circuit in an opposite direction to a direction of a discharging current from the capacitor. |
