A link adaptation method for a WLAN and a network device, which can improve the flexibility of channel information measurement and provide accurate link adaptation to a user. The method in an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first network device acquires a target channel information measurement result, the target channel information measurement result being a measurement result obtained by detecting channel information according to a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) in a target mode; and the first network device performs link adaptation adjustment according to the target channel information measurement result. |
