Disclosed in the present invention are a notification pushing method and device. The method comprises: acquiring, by an always online gateway (AOG), a push notification and storing the push notification in a cache system; and reading, by the AOG, the push notification periodically from the distributed cache system and pushing the push notification to a client terminal. The present invention addresses the problem in the related art in which a notification pushing mechanism cannot realize a normal and timely push of the notification, thus enabling the normal and timely push of the notification and improving user experience. |
