The present invention addresses the problem of providing a device for inserting flat tubes in heat exchanger fins, whereby a heat exchanger core can be assembled efficiently and with good yield. The present invention as a solution to this problem is characterized by being provided with: guide bodies (G) for retaining heat exchanger fins (10) in a plate thickness direction thereof, the guide bodies (G) being inserted in at least one of a plurality of cut-out parts (12); a guide body retaining part (120) for retaining the heat exchanger fins (10) and the guide bodies (G); a flat tube retaining part (130) in which flat tubes T are retained in an intermittent arrangement with respect to cut-out parts (12) in which the guide bodies (G) are not inserted; a flat tube insertion drive part (140) for inserting the flat tubes (T) retained in the flat tube retaining part (130) into the cut-out parts (12); a surface plate (150) for coming in contact with other-side edges in a width direction of the heat exchanger fins (10) during insertion of the flat tubes T into the cut-out parts (12); and a compressing part (124) for compressing the heat exchanger fins (10) in a stack direction. |
