A data processing system and method for producing a report from an organizationally related set of discrete data sourced from a plurality of financial or non-financial systems of an organization, or a combination of both, each compiled to comply with the same or a different set of business requirements or practices to the other. A data input means receives raw data in relation to various business units of the organization sourced from the financial or nonfinancial systems of the organization to which the data relates. A first stage mapping means maps the raw data into a first database structure using a primary data dictionary. A second stage mapping means further maps the first stage mapped data into a second database structure using a secondary data dictionary detailing the second stage mapped data. |
