A mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main body; a display unit, disposed on the main body, for outputting a preview image received from a camera; a sensing unit for sensing the movement of a user; and a control unit for specifying a subject for image capture in the preview image, and providing control associated with the capture of the image received through the camera, in response to the sensing of a predetermined user movement through the sensing unit. Moreover, depending on whether or not the specified subject is included in the image received through the camera, the control unit stores the image in a memory or outputs notification information notifying that the specified subject is not included in the image. |
