The present invention relates to a home cheese maker, in which fermented yogurt, which is produced by fermenting milk, is placed in a container, compressed, and then is allowed to remain in the container, and as continuous pressured is applied by an inner spring thereof, firm cheese can be made and the cheese can be produced at a low cost due to a simple structure. To that end, the present invention comprises: a container provided with a cheese cloth for wrapping the fermented yogurt and a straining cloth on the bottom of the container; and a cover, provided with a helical shaft in the center thereof, for covering the open top part of the container, wherein the bottom of the helical shaft is provided with a pressing plate which is lowered by the rotation of the helical shaft to apply pressure on the cheese cloth. |
