A liquid crystal display and a backlight module thereof. The backlight module (10) comprises a light guide plate (11) provided with a first light-incident side-surface (111), a second light-incident side-surface (112) and a third light-incident side-surface (113), and comprises light source assemblies (12), respectively disposed at the relative position of the first light-incident side-surface, the relative position of the second light-incident side-surface and the relative position of the third light-incident side-surface. The second light-incident side-surface is connected to the first light-incident side-surface, the third light-incident side-surface is connected to the first light-incident side-surface, and the second light-incident side-surface and the third light-incident side-surface are disposed opposite to each other. By means of the liquid crystal display and the backlight module thereof, thinning is achieved, and the light coupling efficacy is improved. |
