1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
a first substrate; a second substrate; a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, containing liquid crystal molecules; a gate line and a drain line; a pixel electrode and a counter electrode disposed between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer; a gate insulation layer formed on the gate line; an organic insulation layer disposed between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer; a switching element, connected to the gate line, including a first electrode connected to the drain line and a second electrode connected to the pixel electrode; wherein the liquid crystal layer is driven by an electric field generated between the pixel electrode and the counter electrode, wherein the pixel electrode is formed between the liquid crystal layer and the organic insulation layer, and wherein the counter electrode is a planar shape, and the pixel electrode comprises a slit having a first portion, and the first portion is not parallel with the gate line and the drain line.
