The invention relates to a structural element intended to be assembled with a body shell of a vehicle, notably of the automobile type, said structural element comprising a bottom structure, a trim panel and a strengthening lining (4) acting as a support for said trim panel. The structural element is characterized by an information device arranged reversibly on the lining (4) by way of a support module (6), the strengthening lining (4) being a structural interface common to a number of variants of said support module (6).
