A urethral support system for treating incontinence in a patient, comprising: a first implant device having a first medial device adapted to engage a portion of the perineal membrane above the urethra of the patient, and a first distal anchor device operatively connected to the first medial device via a first non-mesh extension member extending therebetween and having a first member width less than a width of the first medial device, the first distal anchor device adapted to engage tissue a distance away from the perineal membrane; a second implant device, physically separate from the first implant device, having a second medial device adapted to engage a portion of the perineal membrane above the urethra of the patient spaced away from the first implant device, and a second distal anchor device operatively connected to the second medial device via a second non-mesh extension member extending therebetween and having a second member width less than a width of the second medial device, the second distal anchor device adapted to engage tissue distal to the perineal membrane; and wherein the first and second implant devices physically separate construct combines to define a generally V-shaped configuration extending from the perineal membrane.
