摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide an altitude measurement system and altitude measurement method whereby the altitude of a moving body can be measured in self-contained fashion. In order to achieve this purpose, there is provided an altitude measurement system provided with altitude measurement terminals M1-Mn connected to an Internet connection and an atmospheric pressure trend management unit TM1 connected to the Internet connection, wherein the altitude measurement terminals M1-Mn each include an atmospheric pressure measurement unit 201 for measuring atmospheric pressure, a same-floor residence sensing unit 202 and an in-area residence sensing unit 203 for sensing that a moving body is present at a pre-set altitude, and an atmospheric pressure trend candidate value output unit 204 for outputting atmospheric pressure data measured by the atmospheric pressure measurement unit 201 and spanning a predetermined period to the atmospheric pressure trend management unit TM1 when it is sensed that the moving body is present at the abovementioned altitude, an atmospheric pressure trend integration/generation unit 205 calculating, as needed, the average value of a plurality of atmospheric pressure data supplied from the atmospheric pressure trend candidate value output unit 204 and thereby generating reference atmospheric pressure data corresponding to the altitude.
