The purpose of the present invention is to enable distribution of drugs not only in a fixed distribution pattern but also in another distribution pattern, reduce the number of transfers of the drugs in the process of dispensing the drugs and more smoothly and reliably release the drugs from compartments. Each line 44 of a multi-line conveyor 40 is provided with a drive mechanism (45 + 46) to allow the conveyors 44 to independently move in a vertical plane according to a set program and to selectively perform a line-by-line movement mode or a row-by-row movement mode. A common drug collecting mechanism for all the lines is provided to receive drugs dispensed from the lines 44 of the multi-line conveyor 40. This eliminates the need for a single-line conveyor. Compartments comprise a front divided body and a back divided body which can be divided in the direction of movement of the conveyors 44 and can be joined. The divided bodies are divided at a drug dispensing position and joined before arriving at a drug receiving position. |
