This transport conveyor comprises an upstream conveyor section (13) and a downstream conveyor section (14). The upstream conveyor section (13) is provided in a state where an arcuate upstream virtual route line (L3) is connected to a downstream virtual route line (L4) and the tangent on the downstream end of the upstream virtual route line (L3) and the tangent on the upstream end of the downstream virtual route line (L4) are at the same angle. The upstream conveyor section (13) is configured so that goods are carried and transported while being rotated about a vertical axis so as to be in an upstream position. A rotating operation transport device (15), for carrying and transporting the goods in a state where the rotational amount of the goods associated with transportation on the downstream conveyor section (14) is equal to or greater than the rotational amount caused by the downstream conveyor section (14), is provided on the upstream end of the downstream conveyor section (14). |
