(Problem) A solid electrolyte material having excellent ionic conductivity is desired for increasing the output power of a cell. With the foregoing problem in view, it is the object of the present invention to provide a sulfide solid electrolyte material having excellent Li ionic conductivity and a lithium cell containing said material. (Solution) A solid electrolyte containing a sulfide-based solid electrolyte indicated by the composition formula (Li2S）ｘ（MS2）y(P2S5)z, where M is at least one candidate selected from the group consisting of Ge, Sb, Si, Sn, B, Al, Ga, In, Zr, V, and Nb, 0.53 ≦ ｘ ≦ 0.74, 0.13 ≦ y ≦ 0.37, 0.04 ≦ z ≦ 0.15, and x＋y＋z＝1; and a lithium cell including said electrolyte. |
