Disclosed is a laundry care apparatus (100) and an associated laundry care method. The laundry care apparatus comprises a rotatably mounted inner tub (106) for accommodating items of laundry (108), a drive motor (105) for rotating the inner tub (106), a feeding device (114) for feeding fresh water and detergent into the inner tub (106), a pumping device (120) for recirculating the washing liquid out of the inner tub (106) and back into the inner tub (106), and a control device (118) for controlling the drive motor (105), the feeding device (114) and the pumping device (120) in accordance with a laundry care program running on the control device (118) during operation of the apparatus. The control device (118) is designed to activate the feeding device (114) during a first feeding step of a laundry care program during which fresh water and detergent is fed to the inner tub (106) by means of the feeding device (114). It is also designed to deactivate the latter at the end of a first feeding interval and to activate, within a tolerance interval, the pumping device (120) at the same time when the feeding device (114) is activated, and to deactivate the pumping device at the end of a first pumping interval. |
