The invention relates to a gas valve for metering a gaseous fuel into an intake tract of a combustion engine, comprising an electromagnet (1) and a reciprocating armature (2) which interacts with the electromagnet (1) and is acted upon, in the direction of a valve seat element (3) in which there is formed at least one throughflow opening (4), by the spring force of at least one closing spring (5). According to the invention, the armature (2) is designed as a disk and has a sealing face (6) that interacts with the throughflow opening (4), such that the armature (2) can simultaneously be used as a reciprocating sealing element, wherein the armature (2) possesses at least one recess (7) and/or geometry (8) via which the armature (2) is guided, centered and/or prevented from rotating. |
