The present invention addresses the problem of performing a high-precision analysis of a target component included in a trace blood sample by using a standard component which is permanently present in blood. Provided is a blood test kit which uses a standard component permanently present in blood to analyze the concentration of a target component included in a blood sample, and which comprises a dilution solution for diluting a blood sample, and members selected from the group consisting of: a first storage instrument in which the dilution solution is stored; a separation instrument for separating and collecting blood plasma from the blood sample diluted using the dilution solution; a holding instrument for holding the separation instrument; a second storage instrument for storing the collected blood plasma; and a sealing instrument for keeping the stored blood plasma inside the second storage instrument. The blood test kit is characterized by having defined the amount of a standard component, attributable to the members, which may be included in the dilution solution.
