PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that cleans and disinfects the fouling due to a fat content of meat attaching to a scratching plate portion for draining, surely and sufficiently, in a cleaning mechanism of a meat carcass draining device for draining a cleaning water deposited on carcasses.SOLUTION: A meat carcass draining device includes: a surface draining mechanism for scraping extra water by surrounding suspended carcasses and bringing scrapers into contact with the surface portion of the carcasses, the scrapers being multiple draining scrapers 11 assembled in a chain shape; a lifting mechanism for lifting the surface draining mechanism along the top and bottom of the suspended carcasses; and a shower 30 attached thereto for scalding the scrapers 11 coming into contact with the carcasses. The device is provided with a cleaning and disinfection mechanism 31 in which the shower 30 follows the scrapers 11 and performs jet cleaning while rising. |
