PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an imide-group-containing organic silicon compound which can reduce the production time and reduce the amount of waste produced and achieves excellent productivity and a high yield.SOLUTION: A method of producing an imide-group-containing organic compound includes a step (A) of reacting an amine compound of formula R-NH, (where Ris a hydrogen atom, etc.), with an alkenyl-functional carboxylic acid anhydride in the presence of acetic anhydride to obtain an alkenyl-functional imide compound and a step (B) of carrying out an addition reaction of the alkenyl functional imide compound obtained in the step (A) with a hydrogen silane of formula H-SiRY, (where Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group; Y is a chlorine atom, etc.; n is a number of 0-3) in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst. |
