The present invention relates to shoes and shoe soles as well as methods for their manufacture. According to an aspect of the invention, a sole for a shoe, in particular a sole for a sports shoe, is provided which comprises a first partial region comprising a first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (eTPU) and a second partial region comprising a second eTPU, wherein the first partial region and the second partial region comprise different material properties.
