The elevator system of the present invention includes: an elevator control system; an RGB-D sensor (111,112) or an intelligent wearable device (210); and an information analytic processing apparatus (120). The elevator system and control method thereof in the present invention is accurate, reliable and safe when monitoring the situation of children using the elevator.
