PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolator capable of pre-compressing a vibration isolation base body while omitting a step for narrowing an outer cylinder member in a direction perpendicular to an axis and having a high degree of freedom in design.SOLUTION: A connection rubber part 31 for vulcanization-bonding an inner cylinder member 10 to an outer cylinder member 20 is formed so as to be connected to a projected rubber part 32 projected from a through hole part 22 opened to an outer peripheral surface 21a of the outer cylinder member 20 to an outside direction perpendicular to an axis of the outer cylinder member 20. When a collar member K is externally press-fitted into the outer cylinder member 20, the projected rubber part 32 is pressed by an inner peripheral surface of a collar, so that pre-compression can be applied to the connection rubber part 31. Consequently, durability of the connection rubber part 31 can be sufficiently obtained. |
