To provide a regulating valve of which stability of an operation is high, a regulating valve is disclosed that includes a valve box (1) in which a first flow channel (1a) and a second flow channel (1b) are formed; a cage (2) having a first throttle portion (20) provided in a boundary (1c) between the first flow channel and the second flow channel; a plug head having a second throttle portion (42) slidably inserted into an inside of the cage; and a guide ring (3) slidably holding a plug guide holding the plug head. In a closed state of the regulating valve, a distance between a through-hole of the first throttle portion and an end portion of the plug head on the other end side is equal to a distance between a through-hole of the second throttle portion and an end portion of the cage on the opened one end side. |
