The invention relates to a method for installing and sealing a tubular element in the ground (S) under a head of water situated behind a supporting screen (E), in which method: a sealing device (10) is secured to the supporting screen; a boring device is introduced into the sealing device (10); a hole is bored in the ground using the boring device (30) by making the boring tube vibrate, the boring tube being brought to a determined depth (H); a tubular element (90) is introduced into the boring tube (32) after the boring tube has reached the determined depth; the cutting tool (36) is detached from the boring tube (32) and the boring tube is raised back to the surface keeping the tubular element (90) in the bore hole; and a sealing slurry is injected into the bore hole to seal the tubular element (90) into the ground (S).
