PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for motor cycle in which grip performance and steering performance are made compatible without impairing abrasion resistance of the tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire for a motor cycle has bent main grooves 8 constituted of first grooves 6 and second grooves 7 provided on a step face of a tread. Angles &thetas;1 of the first grooves 6 relative to a circumferential direction are set to 12° or more and 26° or less; inclination angles &thetas;2 of the second grooves 7 relative to a tread circumferential direction are set to 50° or more and 70° or less; and the first grooves 6 arranged at a first region P of one half part of the step face of the tread are extended across a tire equator face to the first region P in the other half part of the step face. The tire further has sub grooves 9 arranged across a second region Q and a third region R and extended obliquely in a specified rotating direction of the tire, from inside in a tread width direction toward outside in the tread width direction. |
