PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution device, a failure recovery method, and program capable of transiting a failure recovery device to an actual active state when a failure recovery device is incorporated into an active system again.SOLUTION: If a device temporarily separated from a load distribution system due to occurrence of a failure is incorporated into the load distribution system again so as to recover the device, a data limiting unit L04G limits an amount of data to be processed by the recovery target device on the basis of a peak time information management table T3 stored in a shared storage unit L03. A limitation cancelling unit L04J cancels the limitation by the data limiting unit L04G if the recovery target device satisfies a predetermined recovery condition. |
