PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of performing further certain protection processing in consideration of an execution state of fault diagnosis.SOLUTION: A microcomputer, when driving and controlling a motor, divides an execution state of each diagnosis into a plurality of states with respect to a plurality of fault diagnosis items executed in parallel with the drive control, and preliminarily sets priorities different from each other for the respective divided execution states to a table. In addition, when abnormalities are determined at the plurality of fault diagnosis items, the priorities of the respective execution states are compared with each other, and a protection function at the execution state, of the fault diagnosis item having a higher priority is executed preferentially. |
