PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing device that is safe and user-friendly for a wide range of bathers (including a care-receiver and a healthy person, for example) and a care-giver.SOLUTION: A bathing device 1 includes: a base part 10; a chair mounting part 11 on which a chair part 31 is mounted; a slide mechanism 13 to cause the chair mounting part 11 to slidably move with respect to the base part 10; and a switching mechanism 14 capable of switching between a lock state in which the slide movement is disabled, and an unlock state in which the slide movement is enabled. The switching mechanism 14 is provided so that, when the lock state is switched to the unlock state, the unlock state is maintained once, and the lock state is automatically acquired by the slide movement after the switching to the unlock state. |
