PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that enables improvement of impact absorption performance of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: An upper member (51) includes: a base part (131) joined to a front end part of a pillar lower (31); and left and right horizontal parts (132) extending from a front end part of the base part (131) to the front side. Each horizontal part (132) is oriented to a lower end part of a pillar upper (32). The base part (131) is formed into a substantially triangle shape when viewed in a vehicle width direction. A first side (131a) of three sides of the triangle is oriented from a rear end of the horizontal part (132) to the lower end part of the pillar upper (32), and a second side (131b) is oriented from the rear end of the horizontal part (132) to a front end part of a side sill (22). Beads (131d) extending in a vehicle body fore and aft direction are formed at the base part (131). The beads (131d) are positioned spaced away from each other in a vehicle body vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
