PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for moving a carrying means among respective fixing parts in accordance with each copying mode by performing a fixing action in each copying mode at a first fixing part when copying is performed by mixing each recording sheet in plural copying modes. CONSTITUTION:As to a fixing device 200, the fixing action at the time of full color copying is performed at an upper fixing part 200a between an upper heat roller 201 and an intermediate heat roller 202, and the fixing action at the time of black-and-white copying is performed at a lower fixing part 2O0b between the intermediate heat roller 202 and a lower heat roller 203. The controlling method of the fixing device 200 and a suction 100 makes copying in the color copying mode and in the black-and-white copying mode possible, and all copying is controlled to be performed in the color copying mode as to a mixing copying mode. Consequently, the time for the normal switching action of the suction 100, and the time for the temperature adjustment and the rotating direction change of respective heat rollers 201-203 can be eliminated, so that efficient copying can be performed also in the mixing mode. |
