PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 38 for two-wheeled vehicles which is reduced in the weight without spoiling operational stability.SOLUTION: A tire 38 comprises a tread 42, a pair of side walls 44, a pair of beads 48, a carcass 50 and a band 56. The carcass 50 has a radial construction. The band 56 comprises cord which is wound in a spiral and extends in a circumference direction substantially. The density of the cord in the band 56 is not more than 45 ends/5 cm. The outer diameter of the cord is not more than 0.75 mm. The cord is formed by twisting a plurality of wires. The cord has a single twist construction. The material of each wire is steel. In the cord, two or more wires are waved. The height of the wave of the waved wires is not less than 0.15 mm. |
